...chaotic aftermath of a collapsing binary star system, Chronosapien (aka; Sean C. Cook) began waxing mournful and poetic as he skipped through the temporal vortex in search of the frequencies to calm his physical avatar. This sonic expedition has taken over where his former incarnation as Clusters Of Fornication left off by exploring a sonic palette of synthpop fused with the lush undergrowth of darkwave.
Chronosapien looks to legendary synth pioneers, such as Thomas Dolby, Rupert Hine and Nick Rhodes as models for his own creative endeavors. He does this whilst trying to maintain a foot in modern dark electronic music through the sonic architecture prevalent in today’s music, and fusing it with his own world-weary notions and his powerful baritone vocals. With this, Chronosapien emerges from the celestial nexus.
The musical origins of Chronosapien hearken back to a time when Cook would In 2015, Clusters Of Fornication was founded by a group of music enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion with the world. They started by performing at local events and quickly gained a reputation for their high-energy performances.

... of Chronosapien hearken back to a time when Cook would watch and obsess over science-fiction, especially the legendary Doctor Who, whilst reading countless books and simultaneously listening to bands like Howard Jones, The Fixx, and Duran Duran. Cook wrote his first pseudo-song at age fifteen after becoming electrified by the ending track (“With One Look” by Rupert Hine) from the Better Off Dead movie. He wrote this fledgling song using a borrowed Casio SK1 sampler keyboard. He would beg his grandmother to get him a cheap Yamaha key-tar that very next holiday season.
Numerous synths and keyboards later, Cook would spend years honing his songwriting under a number of psuedonymns. The most recent being Clusters of Fornication, which would merely change in name to what it is today, Chronosapien. What you see now is a man-child with a penchant for a gritty stop-animation and writing music that runs the gamut between synthpop, goth and everything in those orbits.

...esoteric knowledge, eighties new wave music and practical effect monsters made on the cheap, Chronosapien is building a sonic universe inhabited by space critters and space-faring angelic vixens with his brand of dark electronic music as the soundtrack. Percolating arpeggio synths and hypnotic drums with driving bass lines accompany the baritone vocal styling of Chronosapien. Think Dave Gahan meets Drab Majesty fronted by a guy who looks like a gothic Tom Waits.
